Navigating Africa’s waters (Rivers, etc) towards prosperity and sustainability.
AfriLabs recognizes the immense potential of Africa’s blue economy, which encompasses the ocean, seas, lakes, rivers and other water resources. We understand that the blue economy can offer opportunities for economic growth, social inclusion, job creation and environmental protection. That is why we have established the Blue Economy group, which seeks to support and amplify the innovation hubs and startups that are leveraging the blue economy for sustainable development.

We know that innovation hubs can provide access to quality education, skills training, mentorship and lifelong learning for African youth and entrepreneurs. Through our Education and Human Capital Development group, we aim to strengthen the capacity and collaboration of the hubs and startups that are enhancing education and human capital development in Africa.

AfriLabs understands that investment and capital markets are essential for the growth and sustainability of innovation hubs and startups in Africa. We know that innovation hubs can facilitate access to finance, investment readiness, deal flow and market linkages for African entrepreneurs. Through our Investment & Capital Market initiative, we aim to foster the engagement and partnership of the hubs and startups with investors, financiers, intermediaries and regulators in the investment and capital markets ecosystem.
